We present to you Mr A. George

Who was arrested in 2015 and arraigned in 2016 for conspiracy to commit robbery, armed robbery and rape, and has been in custody since then.

We met him sometime in 2019 and took up his case.

11 witnesses were listed to give evidence, but after several adjournments and no witness showed up in court to prove the guilt of the matter, necessary applications were made and the case was struck out today for want of diligent prosecution.

We give God all the glory.

Introducing J.J. Asuquo who has been in custody since July 2015. We met at Ikoyi Prison in 2015 when he was yet to be arraigned in court. We followed up till he was finally arraigned in 2019.

From 2019 till date no prosecution witness out of the 5 listed showed up in court. Finally today the court set him free for want of diligent prosecution. Glory be to God!

We present to you Christopher A. who was arrested alongside another since 2016 for Armed Robbery and has been in prison custody since then. His matter came up for the first time at the High Court Lagos in Feb 2019 but he was not produced in court until we met him in July and took up his matter.

Subsequently, he was arraigned but trial could not go on for several adjournments due to the absence of prosecution witnesses. We made an application to the court to strike out the matter and the court granted the application. He was discharged and set free today Glory be to Almighty God.

We present to you Sodipo A. aged 32, a victim of random arrest and victimization. He was arrested since September 2016 while at work and charged to Court along side with people whom he had never met before for the offence of Conspiracy to commit robbery and Armed robbery. Sad isn’t it?

We met Sodipo in custody during our visit to Medium correctional facility in January 2019 and took up his case. The twist in this matter was that Sodipo stopped going to Court since 2017 after Magistrate courts were moved to Ogba from Ikeja.

This was because his matter was reassigned to another court. As such, he and his case mates had no information about the court where their matter was now pending and of course no one seemed to care. Pathetic right? While in custody however,

Sodipo was dedicated to serving God in the Church while waiting for a miracle to happen. Well, we had to start by applying for search of his court, search of his file, applied for his matter to be listed and subsequently ensured his attendance to court.

Yesterday, 27th January 2020, he was discharged upon a DPP advice that said he had NO CASE TO ANSWER. God showed up for him. Glory to his name.

We present to you *Odebiyi* *Shakiru* . A 19 year old boy that was arrested and charged for cultism and has been in prison custody since June 2019.
We took up his matter in September.

And today, his matter came up, and an application for it to be struck out was raised. And was granted. Today, he’s a free man….thank you Jesus.

We present to you Kola Noah Busari, Arrested in November 2017 at the age of 18 for Rape alongside two other defendants who jumped bail. We met him at Kirikiri medium prison in October 2018 where he had spent almost a year in prison awaiting trial.

The bad side of his case was that the victim is his friend but the other two defendants now at large committed the act not him. The family of the victim arrested him along with others because he is a close friend to her.

We took up his matter at the High Court in 2018 but upon several adjournments no witness showed up in court. Finally today the Court struck out the matter for want of diligent prosecution. Praise God!

There is this confidence and great joy when God confirms the release of an inmate to me, yes! that excitement that God is involved and is working with us all the way.

So I woke up yesterday morning by 5am to pray and hear His voice like I always do and the first thing He spoke was that there was going to be a release that day..

Arrested since 2017, after many adjournments, God supernaturally released this young man. He has not only given his life to Christ, he was also a dedicated member and drummer in the church in prison.

Join us to celebrate God for His mercies over his life. He is indeed faithful!
